Policy Tool Kit
Cornell policies are owned by a "responsible office" under the sponsorship of a vice president or academic dean ("responsible executive"). Representatives of these responsible offices work closely with the University Policy Office (UPO) to draft, consult stakeholders, present for approval, promulgate, and maintain their policies.
The following tools are provided to support these representatives through each stage of the policy development process. Please use the navigation bar to the right to access these tools.
- List of Responsibilities
- Policy Process Chart
- Impact Statement and Recommended Stakeholders
- Sample Letter to Stakeholders
- List of Review and Approval groups (EPRG and PAG Members)
- Simplified Policy Template
- Policy Style Book
